(1) The quality affects a wide range. For example, design, materials, machinery, meteorology, construction technology, operation methods, operation skills, technical measures, management systems, etc. will directly affect the construction quality of steel structure engineering projects.

(2) Quality fluctuations are easy to occur. Because the construction of steel structure engineering projects is not like the production of other products, there is a relatively fixed production automatic assembly line, there is a standardized production process and perfect testing technology that has been proved to be feasible, there are complete sets of production equipment and stable production environment, and there are products with the same series of specifications and the same functions; At the same time, due to many accidental factors and systemic factors affecting the construction quality, such as material differences, welder voltage and current changes, changes in operation and environment, instrument failure, etc., will cause quality fluctuations and produce quality accidents.
